Designer Genes: New Frontiers in Deep Brain Learning®
Join Dr. Larry Brendtro as he shares the latest developments in Deep Brain Learning®. These exciting discoveries have real-life implications for working with youth at-risk. Children who have experienced toxic environments and traumatic relationships have problems that do not respond to superficial attempts to modify surface behavior. Lasting change requires transforming thinking and values. Resilience is based on the four Circle of Courage needs of Belonging, Mastery, Independence, and Generosity. Our brains meet these needs with inbuilt "maps" for trust, problem solving, personal power, and moral values. This presentation combines the latest in brain research as it relates to working with youth, and includes practical strategies for connecting with youth and fostering positive change.

We think our webinars are top-notch, but don't take our word for it. Here are a few comments from Dr. Brendtro's webinar participants:
I was a little anxious about having staff attend a webinar for training as my experience with this type of training has not been positive. However this webinar showed that it could be a great way of training. I suggest that you all train everyone in the industry on how to use the webinar as an effective tool. Loved the slides, Dr. Brendtro was a great presenter, and the information was wonderful. Thank you. :)
