The Developmental Audit informs decision-making for adults by providing a comprehensive, longitudinal, and ecological evaluation of a young person in critical times. Treatment planning, placement planning, and judicial dispositions all benefit from the depth of understanding provided by the Developmental Audit.
Two critical questions are addressed in every audit:
How did this young person's life result in these circumstances?
What can be done do help adjust the developmental pathway or aid in healing?
Using direct communication with the young person, review of all available records and interviews with key people in the ecology provides a more complete understanding of assets and needs and will lead to determining the most effective course of action. This webinar will highlight critical elements of audits that have prevented school expulsions or transfer of youth to adult judicial jurisdictions.
