Greetings and Happy New Year from the RYI Home Office! A new year, a new beginning, a clean slate – don’t you just love fresh starts? With so many new friends joining our network, we thought we would take this opportunity to acquaint you with our office staff at Reclaiming Youth International.
Wendy Beukelman is our bookstore manager and accounting manager. She has been with our organization for 2+ years, and effectively handles all bookstore orders and shipping matters. Wendy has also assumed the responsibilities of preparing our monthly e-newsletter and managing our website. Wendy and her husband have three children – all currently in high school! – so her life is busy, busy, busy! Wendy enjoys boating, fishing, reading, knitting & crocheting and trying new recipes. Please contact Wendy with any questions regarding the Reclaiming Youth Bookstore and resource materials.
Cindy Crabtree is our seminar and training coordinator. She has been with Reclaiming Youth International for 5+ years, and manages the day-to-day operations in the RYI office. Cindy also handles the college credit registrations for all workshop participants who opt for undergraduate or graduate credit through RYI/Augustana College. Cindy and her husband have two grown children – whew! Her favorite activities include baking, reading, walking, canoeing, and dining out with friends. Please contact Cindy with any questions regarding our upcoming 2010 Seminars or if you are interested in bringing one of our trainings to your location.
Dena is our newest addition to the office staff. She has been a daily volunteer for a little more than a year and her responsibilities are numerous: official greeter, stress reliever, comforter, comic relief, and faithful friend to all. Her favorite activities include napping, performing tricks for treats, begging for Cheerios, apples and carrots from staff lunches, and trying to keep track of everyone in the office so that we are safe and protected (as any good herding dog worth its salt should).
Cindy and Wendy look forward to seeing many of you at our 2010 Reclaiming Youth Seminars in Victoria, British Columbia (April) and Black Hills, South Dakota (June). We love many aspects of our jobs, but the best by far is getting to meet our friends face to face in these lovely locations! Make plans to join us in person or visit us on the website (www.reclaiming.com) and on Facebook (search for Reclaiming Youth Network).
