RAP provides essential training for all who deal with young persons in family, school, community, and rehabilitation settings. Children and youth need supportive adults who respond to their needs rather than react to their problems. RAP applies the Circle of Courage principles of focusing on strengths and solutions, and provides adults with the appropriate response abilities to guide young persons on pathways to responsibility. This training offers practical methods grounded in research evidence on resilience, brain science, and positive psychology.

Developmental Auditoffers a fresh alternative to traditional deficit-based assessment. Professionals will learn how to engage the young person as a primary data source and full participant in this reflective and restorative process. The Audit teaches practitioners how to involve young persons who are in conflict to join in the process of identifying problems and finding solutions, and is particularly relevant where youth are at risk for removal from school or placement in restrictive settings.

This two-day workshop will introduce participants to an overview of the very effective approach to leadership, Situational Leadership II. The formula for confident, directed leadership will set the stage for creating a more comprehensive approach to professional development of staff in essential tasks. Participants will be guided from that overview to application in their specific settings and focus on staff they supervise. At the conclusion of this training, participants will have begun to apply this approach to specific positions and staff in their organization, including targeted written feedback.
