RYI Announces Expanded Consultation Services

Over the past decade, Reclaiming Youth International has provided training to hundreds of public and private organizations in education, social services, mental health and corrections in various parts of the world. We have resources to provide Response Ability Pathways (RAP), Life Space Crisis Intervention (LSCI), Developmental Audit and PersonBrain training programs. In many instances, while providing training services, we are asked to observe programs, consider challenges regarding individual young people and engage in discussions about organizational responses to problems or opportunities. These informal interventions, which have occurred in the context of training contracts, have resulted in growing interest among those who engage us in their work to request formal consultation as the primary focus of our work with them.

Happy Holidays!

Those of us in the Reclaiming Youth International office want to extend our holiday greetings to you and yours. For those of you who have been part of our trainings and conferences, we thank you for being part of our Reclaiming family.

Reclaiming Youth International is a not-for-profit organization. 95% of our funding comes from the work that we do: selling books, delivering trainings, consulting and holding annual conferences. We would love to see more tax-deductible donations come in to the organization. On our website, we have a place for you to make a donation, either with a pre-set amount or an amount of your choosing, as a tax-deductible gift.
Honestly, if the button doesn’t get pushed, we would be OK with that as long as you keep encouraging others to learn about Reclaiming Youth and we get to see you again.

Thanks for all you do for our children. We are lucky - some would say blessed - because we have the opportunity to make a difference in this world.
Blessings to all,

Circle of Courage Elementary Schools

What happens when a school becomes a Circle of Courage School?   Parents smile, kids learn and enjoy school, and teachers are filled with pride. A Circle of Courage School designation represents value added”.

Since Reclaiming Youth at Risk: Our Hope for the Future was first published in 1990, those working with youth have asked for guidance in creating places that reflect the reclaiming philosophy – places that meet the belonging, mastery, independence and generosity needs of students as represented by the Circle of Courage™ model. In response, the first tool kit was designed for those working in elementary schools.
